THE FRIENDS

Because good design comes from collective discourse.

PHILOSOPHY

FRIENDS OF PAULA is about taking the time to do well.

To create something of value. To produce responsibly and sustainably. All of our products are hand-made, with an appreciation of the craft involved, made by experts in their field in order to achieve the highest possible quality. Rather than mass-producing, we produce limited series or on-demand only.

NATURAL DESIGN

My biggest source of inspiration lies in my observations of the natural environment surrounding me. Shapes and textures, colors and materials, memories of places I have visited around the world come together in my work and drive me forward. Hence, my work strengthens the importance of using natural materials and producing both sustainably and responsibly.

ARTIST COLLABORATIONS

Grown up with a family-owned gallery for contemporary art, I have sharpened my eye for detail and craft and have developed a fascination for the interconnectedness of our world and the value of storytelling. Together with MAI 36 Galerie Zurich, FRIENDS OF PAULA  collaborates with renowned artists from all over the world in order to create art editions in continuation of their work.
